Seema Ram is a UK-trained psychotherapist and a member of the British
Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists (BACP). She has experience working
with a wide range of issues including anxiety, stress, relationship problems, sexual
abuse, low self-esteem, depression and grief. She practices in Hong Kong and
London, where she has worked with clients referred by the NHS, among others.
Seema is trained in integrative psychotherapy and draws on its major approaches:
humanistic, contemporary psychodynamic, existential and behavioural (CBT),
working with what is most appropriate to each client’s needs. Her practice is
informed by the methods that research shows are most effective.
There are times in our lives when we find we are struggling, or in some distress—we
may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or find that we are running into the same problems
again and again. We may experience these issues in relation to our behaviour, our
mental states, our relationships, our work or our health. Seema believes in providing
a safe and confidential environment where one can openly explore feelings, thoughts
and experiences to find resolution and empowerment with professional guidance.
Seema has a PGDip in psychotherapy & counselling from Regents University,
London. Before training as a psychotherapist, Seema worked in finance and holds
an MBA. She has lived in cities around the world. She welcomes clients of all ages,
genders, sexual orientations and cultural backgrounds.
